Following delays due to several disastrous cat stampedes, and totally not poor planning, independent game developer Aggressive Combustion Game Studios can confirm that their first game, the charmingly brutal 2D puzzle platformer, Project MALLOW, will launch July 18th on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. The desktop version of Project MALLOW will be available in both Steam and DRM-free varieties.

Project MALLOW, hailed as “a fun little game,” is a maddeningly difficult 2D puzzle platformer about an adorable, sentient marshmallow tasked with launching and sticking his way across 100+ unique levels to escape a candy factory. Along the way, MALLOW will uncover dangerous secrets about the factory’s owner and history, as well as face flames, saw blades, lasers, and other scary things that will threaten his very existence.

Game Features:

  • Brutally difficult, hardcore puzzle-platforming
  • Over 100 unique levels
  • Customize your MALLOW with different accessories
  • Generally functional
  • Has some neat mechanics

“We’ve spent the last year working on MALLOW, and we’re incredibly excited to finally release our adorable, rage-inducing monstrosity upon unsuspecting gamers everywhere,” said studio co-owner Chris Helms. Co-owner Brandon Olive, clearly exhausted due to crunch time added, “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created with Project MALLOW. But much like family that’s been in town far longer than initially planned, it’s overstayed its welcome and needs to get out of my house.”
